KINGSTON BLACK

The Kingston Black apple is the most famous apple in the cider making world. Dating back centuries, the variety originated in Somerset, but by the 1800's it had spread all over England and Wales.

A favourite with the old farming communities and their traditional way of cider making; often kept for the vintage house cider and drunk on special occasions.

There have been various new strains of this variety grown, but none to match the taste of the old.
